It goes without saying that some of the most important regional specialities are alpine cheese and its derivatives. It is available, as is fresh butter straight from the dairy, “Goaßkäsle” (goats’ cheese), eggs, honey, jam, pasta, etc. in many places especially at the weekly markets – and in the alpine dairy shop.
